Easter 2009

Easter 2009 was not what we had planned for. On Saturday, Annie had her first softball tournament. It was a chilly 35 degrees. In the second game Annie slid into

home and injured her ankle. After an ambulance ride and a couple hours in the ER, she was in surgery having 3 pins put in her broken ankle. OUCH! She is in good spirits now but will be on crutches for 6-8 weeks. So we picked her up from the hospital about 2pm and she spent Easter on the couch having lots of visitors. As for the rest of us, we went to dinner and had family and friends for an Easter hunt and a birthday celebration for Jackson. Despite the injury, it was a great day!
